Get a group of friends together to cycle the wonderful Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail. Our lodge is at the end of the Pukaki Flats section of the trail and can comfortably host up to 12 people. Our spacious communal area provides an ideal space to congregate after a day of cycling to either dine, socialize or just to take in the amazing sunsets over the mountains.
Although Twizel is only 3km away, we know that at the end of a long day of cycling, sometimes getting back on a bike can be hard so we provide transport to Twizel for evening meals or supermarket runs.
The hangar is available for secure storage of cycles overnight and for charging the electric batteries ready for next day's adventure.
While breakfast is included, you can use the guest kitchen and dining area to prepare an evening meal if you do not wish to dine out in Twizel.
FLY IN - STAY - PLAY
Get a group of friends together to fly into Pukaki Airport, then you can easily taxi down and park right outside the lodge!
Our Lodge can comfortably host up to 12 people with spacious communal areas to provide an ideal space to congregate and socialise after a day's flying or to just take in the amazing sunsets over the mountains. We have access to other airfield accommodation if your group is larger and can provide transport to Twizel for evening meals or supermarket runs.
While breakfast is included, you can use the guest kitchen and dining area to prepare an evening meal if you do not wish to dine out in Twizel.
Pukaki Airport is a great place to base a South Island aviation adventure with Mt Cook, Milford Sound and Stewart Island all within an easy flight from the airfield.

Our location in the midst of New Zealand's first dark sky reserve provides an opportunity like no-other for capturing uninterrupted views of the night sky, Milky Way and stunning Aurora's.
If you want to do a time lapse of the night sky, you can just set your camera up outside your room and let it do its thing while you sleep.
