View Family RoomPukaki Air Lodge is built on the edge of Pukaki Airfield, 3km from Twizel. Our 5- room boutique lodge offers superior ensuite hotel style rooms, with arguably the best views on offer in the Twizel area. Each room has uninterrupted clear views across tussock grassland to Aoraki Mount Cook and the eastern mountains. Though light aircraft can often be seen flying during the day, by night this incredibly quiet location guarantees a peaceful night's sleep and stunning views of the night sky.
Pukaki Air Lodge is a not only a great place to stay, but a perfect base to enjoy all the outdoor activities the Mackenzie basin has to offer - fishing, biking, hiking, lake activities and cycling. We are conveniently located at the start of the scenic drive to Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, with easy access to all the beauty this region has to offer.

The lodge is often used for group bookings – Aero-club fly and stay, cycling groups on the Alps 2 Ocean trail, photography and stargazing tours, small conference groups and meetings.
